ISM students study abroad
Supply management is a global profession. Many careers in supply management involve international travel, and international assignments are common.
ISM students are encouraged to study abroad. The ISM program works closely with the Study Abroad Office of Haenicke Institute for Global Education to provide both Short Program and Semester abroad programs. Your ISM advisor will work with you to find an appropriate program that fits with your curriculum plans.
If you have studied a foreign language in the past, or are interested in learning a foreign language, then a semester of studying abroad is the key to developing your language proficiency. Even if you do not have any foreign language skills, there are semester programs for you.
If you are unsure about spending a semester abroad, the ISM program regularly sponsors short-term study abroad programs in Germany, Australia, England and France.
